"I spent many years doing research on homeschooling before I decided to remove my children from public school. During my research I never found a single source of information that answered all of my homeschooling questions. Once my husband I decided to remove our children from public school and I had a couple of years of experience under my belt, I wanted to share my knowledge and experience with other families fed up with the public school system. This led to the very beginnings of "The Tutor" back in 1991. I started by providing families with information and used curriculum. The business quickly grew into the distribution of new homeschooling curriculum. I have branched out from a small beginning to retailing some of the most highly rated and recommend programs available to homschoolers. I have recently added an introduction to homeschooling workshop, a high school diploma program, and I am president of the advisement board for the Homeschool Academy of South Jersey. My experience and knowledge had become well known in the NJ Homeschooling community. I have been interviewed on several radio programs including being featured on our local ABC news station doing a piece on homeschooling.
